Leah Sinclair is a freelance journalist and former online editor for The Voice Newspaper. She studied BA Fashion Journalism at the University for The Creative Arts, where she graduated with a 2:1 degree in 2014.
Following her degree, the Londoner interned with Cent Magazine, Noctis Magazine and DAZED Magazine.
She freelanced for publications including DAZED, FACT Mag and The Guardian before working as a journalist and an online editor for The Voice Newspaper.
Leah currently works as a reporter for the Evening Standard and freelances for publications including Stylist Magazine, Grazia, i-D and more writing across lifestyle, entertainment and culture.
She has participated in panel talks, including speaking about black female representation in the media at Rapport Festival and discussing the future of journalism at Mozilla Festival in London. In addition, she has taken part in lectures at Nottingham Trent University and London College of Communications.
Alongside writing, Leah has featured on BBC Radio London and ABN Radio.
In 2020, Leah launched Black Girls Around The World - an online platform sharing stories of Black women across the diaspora.
